Godspeed Ms. Hamill
The Times has this interesting tidbit about Prof. Hamill's arguments to reform Alabama's regressive tax system to conform with Judeo-Christian ethics.

Albums with Titles Like "Phunk Shui"
In direct contrast to the discussion below, proceed posthaste to The Onion to read about the Least Essential Albums of 2003, where a female tribute to Creed awaits you. Best of all is the fact that there are links next to each album screaming "Buy It!" (While you're there, see if John Kerry's still running his ads of Bush in a jumpsuit.)

5 in a Row?
It's been a long running discussion between Badman, Terra Incognito (see at left), and characters such as A. Ruel, M. Banuelos as to which bands/artists qualify as putting out 5 straight great albums. To qualify, it's not required that a dud never have been issued but there needs to be a consistent streak. I today thought of a glaring oversight unless someone has already mentioned Led Zeppelin.

Houses of the Holy
Physical Graffiti
Wow. Let's see, perhaps Terra Incognito can help me out, but obvious others that come to mind. Mind you I'm surprised at how conventional some of these names are, but consistency is hard to come by:
Elliott Smith (Roman Candle, eponymous, either/or, x/o, figure 8-- a pretty solid streak)
Bjork
Bob Dylan
Outkast (there's been debate as to whether they qualify, and I haven't yet listened to Speakerboxxx)
I'm grasping when it comes to hip hop, but the following come close:
Public Enemy
Beastie Boys
Run DMC?
